1. Using Glimzy

Glimzy helps you learn English through podcasts. You can discover shows, prepare episodes, listen with synchronized transcripts, translate words or phrases, practice pronunciation, save Vocabulary, and track learning progress. Some features depend on third-party content and services.

You must use Glimzy lawfully and for personal learning. Do not abuse access limits, scrape or automate the service without permission, bypass protections, interfere with the service, or use it to redistribute podcast content or private transcripts where that is not allowed.

2. Accounts and personal data

You may use the initial learning screens without signing in, but an account is required for account-backed synchronization and podcast preparation. You are responsible for using an account method you are authorized to use and for keeping access to the selected Apple, Google, or email sign-in method. Do not use another person's account or attempt to bypass account, access, or safety controls.

You can export supported personal data and delete your account from Settings. Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store subscription and does not delete non-personal shared transcript or audio assets used by other learners.

3. Podcasts and generated help

Podcasts, artwork, names, and other materials come from their respective publishers and providers. Glimzy does not claim ownership of that third-party content. You are responsible for respecting the rights and terms that apply to content you listen to.

Transcripts, translations, pronunciation help, and other automated outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. They are learning aids, not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Check important information yourself.

4. Free access, Glimzy Pro access, subscriptions, and Fair Use Policy

Glimzy may offer a limited Free experience and Glimzy Pro access through the subscriptions shown in the app and the Apple App Store or applicable app store. The store displays the selected plan's price, billing period, currency, and trial terms before purchase. Eligibility, access allowances, and safety limits are enforced by the service and may differ between Free and Glimzy Pro. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in your store account settings before the end of the current billing period.

Glimzy Pro subscriptions grant expanded podcast preparation access for personal learning. To prevent automated scraping, bot activity, and service abuse, all access remains subject to server-enforced Fair Use and safety limits. We may temporarily pause or limit access for accounts exhibiting abnormal velocity, automated usage patterns, or behavior that threatens the service.

Manage, cancel, or restore subscriptions directly through your store account settings.

5. Availability and changes

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, content sources, or Glimzy Pro access. We may suspend use that violates these terms or threatens the service or other users. We may update these terms by posting a new version here. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

6. Disclaimers and liability

Glimzy is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no promise that the service, transcripts, automated outputs, or podcast availability will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Volodymyr Kobyletsky will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of Glimzy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
